MEET NICK WILL
I was born in North Carolina but grew up moving around a lot because of my dad’s Marine career. Eventually, I found my way back to Louisiana, where my family’s roots run deep, and that’s where I call home now. Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My folks say my first instruments were just pots and pans in the kitchen. From there, my love for making music only grew stronger.
I’ve been playing drums in church since I was a kid, for all kinds of denominations, and found a lot of joy in every beat. In high school, I was drum captain, mostly on snare, and later got to play college-level at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. During that time, I also played with a band called Different Strokes. Nowadays, I’m drumming with TK and the Right Pieces, hitting festivals, weddings, and all sorts of events throughout the South.
Besides performing, I also produce beats, mixing my passion for rhythm with creativity to create unique sounds. Music isn’t just something I do, it’s a way of life. I’m into all kinds of music and have explored pretty much every genre over the years. Lately, I’ve been loving my role as a DJ, where I get to help make some of life’s best moments even more memorable, from weddings to parties and everything in between.
Off the stage, I’m all about family. I married my college sweetheart, and together we’re raising two great boys, passing on our love for music and life.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. I’m excited to share my passion for music with you.
